Over Boeddha Stenen
When I was young, I came across an article about Tibet, and that was the beginning of my introduction to the region. The fascinating snow-covered plateau, the poignant, impoverished existence of the Tibetans, and their devotion and deep faith gave me a longing for the pure and powerful spiritual energy of the plateau.
And so the adventure began.
In the past four years, I have traveled countless times to my dreamed-of place, Tibet. During these consecutive spiritual journeys, I not only saw picturesque landscapes, friendly Tibetans, and sacred temples, but I also found my deepest self. By chance, a respected senior gave me a Tibetan name representing the lotus flower: Pema. From that moment on, I like to introduce myself that way. My love for Tibet transcends my birthplace and every city I have ever lived in. I have incorporated that love into an online website, dedicated to supporting Tibetan artists and the poor in the region.
